From the Haymarket Train Station at NE1 7PF, trains depart every 9 minutes and take only 4 minutes to reach Central Station. The venue is conveniently located just 70 metres from Central Station. Head out of the station east on Taxi Rank toward Neville Street/A186. Sharp left onto Neville Street/A186 where you’ll find the venue on the left.

If you’re coming from St. James Train Station at NE1 4SD, head northwest on Gallowgate/A189 toward Heber St. Turn right onto Strawberry Pl then turn left onto Barrack Rd/A189. The pick-up point will be on the right. At the Barrack Road-St James Park, board the No. 71 Newcastle Upon Tyne train and alight after 2 stops at Central Station. The venue is a 3-minute walk away. Head east on Westgate Rd/A186 toward Forth Ln then Turn right toward Neville St/A186. The venue will be on the left.

There is parking located at the venue for those driving to the course. If you are heading into the city at lunchtime, then there are tons of car parks to choose from:

Neville St, where the venue is located, is highly walkable with a score of 97/100. It means you can run numerous errands, and you should be able to grab a snack and get to shops in this ‘Walker's Paradise’.

 

Accommodation
If you are away from home to take part in the course, there are four closely located and reasonably priced hotels near the venue. Five minutes away is the Holiday Inn Express Newcastle City Centre, where you’re likely to get the best deals. Alternatively, Hotel Indigo Newcastle is along Fenkle St, Hampton by Hilton Newcastle is very close along Neville St, and Sleeperz Hotel at 15 Westgate Road. Food
There are plenty of places to grab a snack or a hot breakfast or lunch very close to the venue. Fifty metres west of the venue there’s Costa Coffee where you can grab a good coffee and bacon roll. About 100 metres west stands AMT Coffee Newcastle where you can grab your favourite coffee, pastry or a sweet or savoury snack. They also serve English breakfasts and other hot food catering to local workers at great prices.

For sumptuous dishes, head east 6 minutes from the venue to The Camera Shop where there are Jacket potatoes, Coleslaw sandwiches and salad boxes. North-east of the Camera Shop you’ll find Blakes which will serve you up a Full Monty and the classic Geordie Big Breakfast Stottie. If you have a sweet tooth, Laneway & Co. won’t disappoint you with their variety of waffles, shakes, cakes and cheesecakes.
